These teddy bear folded towels are a cute way to give towels in a gift basket for bridal, household, or baby showers. They're also a great display in your guest bathroom, while still being usable by guests. I think this would also be a cute way to give baby blankets. It takes practically no time, yet really makes for a special presentation. Your guests/gift recipients will appreciate that you took the time to add a special touch. They will LOVE them!

For those I couldn't find the exact match, I linked a closely similar version. Actually, you could do the whole thing very inexpensively from the dollar store. I actually find that the thinner towels from the dollar store create a better fold and also have more of a "fuzzy" teddy bear look (like the brown one in my first example). You may want to give thicker, higher quality towels in a gift basket, but I definitely recommend the thinner ones for your guest bathroom. Life Update 2025

 

I've been gone from YouTube for quite some time (over a year). Watch my YouTube video here to catch up on everything that has been going on in my world. Christmas Wreath Party Plates

 

Need a last minute idea for your Christmas party decor?? I got you! These are so festive and adorable but super quick and easy to put together, so you can spend your time visiting with your guests instead of stressing over an elaborate table setting. Do you remember my green striped plates from my Watermelon Party Plates back in the Summer? I still had some left... In the Summer, my brain automatically saw a watermelon rind when I spotted them in the store. Now, in a Christmas mindset, my brain sees a Christmas wreath. So that's what I'm making! Don't be afraid to pull from your stash. Maybe you don't need to run out to the store for new "Christmas plates". I love to reuse and reimagine the things that I already have on hand. I think they make adorable Christmas Wreath Party Plates. You can probably find some other plates with a green design around the border that can also become a wreath or use the solid color option which I also show you in this video.

Reindeer Bead Charms

 

My favorite thing about my bead charms is that they are open to interpretation. It's all just a play on shapes and colors, just like my punch art projects. Mix up the shapes and colors to make yours your own. In this video, I show you two options for beads you could use to create a reindeer bead charm for Christmas. You could use any brown(ish) bead in a round, oval, teardrop, or other shape of your choice for the reindeer head. Also, change it up with different red beads in different finishes (crystal, pearl, AB...) for the nose in different shapes such as rondelle, round, bicone, etc.. You could even change up the antlers.. I used leafy bead caps but you could use branch connector beads or... well, just get creative. Yarn Wrapped Mini Pumpkin

 

My yarn wrapped mini pumpkin is super quick and easy to pull together as last minute decor for Thanksgiving/Fall.  These would also be a fun craft to do with your holiday guests.  I find myself doing small crafts lately because I've had my mind on tiered tray decor.. even though I don't have a tiered tray.  These would be adorable on a tiered tray!  Gotta get one!

Standing Easel Pumpkin ~ Place Card or Tiered Tray Decor

 

This standing easel pumpkin is like a 3-D version of punch art, created using simple oval shapes.  I began my "Punch Art" journey because I love the simplicity of creating new and interesting images using only basic shapes.  Here, I've ventured beyond paper punches by creating with wood cutouts.  In the future, I plan to use an even wider variety of crafting media to create punch art.... or... at this point I guess I should be calling it "Shape Art".🤷  

I love this pumpkin for tiered tray decor or as place cards (with the addition of names).  And, just like with punch art, you can create sooo many different decor items beyond the pumpkin.  The coolest part is the "kickstand":  made from something you all probably have on hand in great numbers!  Hit PLAY to see how I made it.:
